Plop Krozzlewhistle hails from the iron-ribbed canyons of the Western Mountains, where his gnomish clan once maintained the winding maze-paths that threaded between dwarven strongholds and goblin warrens. Raised among rusted gears and moss-covered stones, Plop found joy not in tinkering like many of his kin, but in navigating the wild, unruly labyrinths that sprawled beneath the surface. As a boy, he vanished for days into those echoing tunnels, returning with rare fossils clutched in soot-streaked hands and tales of shadow-beasts no one believed.
When he came of age, Plop chose the path of the ranger—not for love of nature, but to master the terrain others feared. Agile and relentless, he trained himself to leap chasms, scale cliffs, and outrun cave-beasts, honing both acrobatics and brute strength. His specialty became subterranean hunts and high-risk retrievals, earning him a reputation as a guide through impossible places.
Now, he wanders beyond the mountains, drawn by whispers of a deeper maze—an ancient labyrinth said to hold the fossilized remains of a long-lost god. Plop seeks it not for knowledge, but for dominion. For him, control of the unknown is the truest form of power—and he intends to rule where others only survive.
